So I've been thinking about all the money and time that I spend on skincare. Seriously, since I've hit 30 I've noticed an uptick in the time I spend looking at products and the interest I have in researching what are latest and greatest. It's not a bad thing, but where my girlfriends and I seemed to used to talk about what new bar made a killer cocktail, now we chat about and share what new skincare product we've discovered. Oh how the times have changed.
Maybe it's my natural nerdiness, or being a Northwest native, but I've recently bexome really curious about creating your own skincare products. I've read articles in which people describe "whipping up" a mask or oil in their kitchens, and I've become fascinated. So I've officially decided that I'm going to jump in and test it out, our new house is going to be conveniently situated by a New Seasons, and I've already been spying on their aisles of oils and glass bottles, envisioning some lovely face tonic or toner that I may create. So I need some help and starter thoughts, love to hear any tips or tricks, or even watch-outs from any experimentation you may have done lovelies.
